Not just a Cartoonist
When people think of Walt Disney, they often think back to the movies they watched as a child, such as Cinderella and The Lion King. However, many people focus more on the voice actors, humor, or storylines of the films and don't give a thought about the technology it took to bring these films to life. Sound and Color: two seemingly common aspects of modern movies were innovations in the film industry of the 1920s, and were pioneered by Walt Disney, a true visionary. Walt Disney Studios is constantly pushing technology to its limits, and is always trying to race ahead of its competitors. The studio's high standards were set by Walt DIsney in the late 1920's. Then, films were basically black and white moving pictures with prerecorded instrumental records playing along side the images. Walt Disney Studios changed the early film industry by creating full-length animated films, and cartoons in color with synchronized sound.
